In a new move to bring more exposure to Android and Pixel devices, Google has teamed up with Getty Images and Crown + Conquer to launch the third annual editorial entertainment photography internship, which will see two up-and-coming photographers take part to develop and hone their talents.

Google Pixel devices will be present at the Getty Images and Crown + Conquer photography internship 2023

Getty Images and Crown + Conquer photography internship applications are open to choose two lucky applicants (one on the West Coast and one on the East Coast). Those selected will not only learn from some of the best photographers and editorial teams, but they will also receive some Google Pixel devices that will help them unleash their creativity.

In case you don’t know, Getty Images is one of the most recognized visual media companies in the industry, while Crown + Conquer is a marketing agency that seeks to offer innovative advertising models. This association (along with the Android brand) will allow those chosen to access multiple important events, learning everything they have behind them.

Additionally, if everything goes well, those selected will have the opportunity to directly join the work team. For example, the latest two interns (Kayla Oaddams and Momodu Mansaray) are now part of the team, covering 115 events since then, and whose content has been exposed in some of the main media outlets like Vanity Fair, Vogue, among others.

Some benefits of completing the photography internship

Applications for the Android, Getty Images and Crown + Conquer photography internship are open now until December 10. It is a paid internship, so those selected will receive a payment while they are trained in multiple key areas of the segment. The official list of areas to train is as follows:

  • Creating editorial content (photography and videography).
  • Assigning events and client relations.
  • Staffing the picture desk, as well as video and field editing.
  • Using robotics and remote cameras.
  • Visual storytelling from all angles using professional camera equipment and Google’s advanced technology exclusively available on Android devices.
  • Major event production.

  • Equipped with a full equipment “kit”, including a family of Google Pixel products (Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel Buds and Pixel Watch) to continue honing and practicing their craft.
  • Added to Getty Images’ “preferred provider” list (if available and applicable).
  • Able to opt into the Google Pixel and Android influencer programs.
