Yet the feature that makes the Echo Show 15 stand out is currently not working properly for many. The Echo 15 stays on a black screen and continuously asks users not to unplug their device.

Amazon Echo Show 15 users are facing an issue where the screen is not working and instead displays a black or blank window. The only thing that seems to be working is the mute button and flashes a red light when pushed.
Even after hours of running, the Echo Show 15 remains stuck on an updating screen. Sometimes, the screen just doesn’t turn on at all.

My echo show 15 just went off yesterday and tried what is suggested on the internet turning it off for 3 minutes and holding the mute and volume down button but this did not work. We have left it off since yesterday but still not turning on this morning. This is only few months new

Luckily, an Amazon staff member has acknowledged the issue where the Echo Show 15 is stuck on a blank screen and said that the team is working towards a resolution.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround that can possibly help resolve this issue. So, users will have to wait until Amazon comes up with a definite fix.
