AEW Fight Forever is an exciting new wrestling video game developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ Nordic. It’s the very first game released by All Elite Wrestling (AEW), a popular American professional wrestling promotion.

With this game, AEW fans can now bring the thrilling action of their favorite wrestlers right into their living rooms. It is available on different gaming platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows.

However, some early adopters of the game are experiencing issues while playing it on PlayStation 4. According to reports doing rounds, AEW: Fight Forever is crashing for some gamers on PS4.

The problem has gained attention on various social media platforms (1, 2, 3), such as Twitter and Reddit, where players have raised their concerns and frustrations.

As per the reports, the crashes occur when players attempt to start a match or try to change certain game settings.

Fortunately, the developers have been quick to respond to the problem and have acknowledged it. They’ve confirmed that this issue is being investigated, however, didn’t provide any ETA for the fix.

In the meantime, a temporary workaround has been discovered by some players that may alleviate the issue, so if you are encountering crashes while playing AEW: Fight Forever on your PS4, try the following:

if you’re getting this error whenever you try to start a match, go to ps4 settings, uncheck the ‘connect to the internet’ box (Source)

Moreover, players can also avoid crashes by turning off Wi-Fi. However, they’ll have to play it offline.

05:40 pm (IST): The ongoing issue of AEW: Fight Forever crashing on PS4 remains unresolved (1,2,3), and there is no ETA provided for a fix.

06:20 pm (IST): According to the support team, the issues behind frequent crashing of the game on PS4 have been identified and they are actively working on a resolution.

The fix will hopefully be included in the upcoming update.

12:16 pm (IST): Developers recently released a new patch to fix stability issues on PS4. Hence, the crashing bug should be resolved after installing this update.
