New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on August 08, 2022) follows:
Many ADT Pulse customers have been troubled by the service being down and not working for several hours. This outage has left them unable to control their smart home automation systems.
The outage began almost a day ago and many users are still reporting that they aren’t able to get the app to work.
We’ve added some reports for reference below:
@ADT’s Pulse App down for well OVER 12 hrs. Nearly every response is the same, & offers NO explanation or estimated time for restoration of service. Given you’ve just had quite an impressive 2nd Qtr, you may want to value customers enough to answer their ?s & resolve the issue! (Source)
@ADT can we get updates or info on all online access being down. ADT Pulse, app and wedsite, have been down all day. And yall havent posted about it or anything. (Source)
@ADT I cannot access the pulse app since last night. I can’t even arm it from the keypad. It shows failed to arm after I press my master key to set away. (Source)
Users were saying they weren’t able to log in or access the app since it displayed the ‘Failed to arm’ message after they entered the master key.
However, now the app simply displays a ‘We’ll be right back’ message followed by some information.
The company also responded to a user’s complaint by stating that their specialists are working to resolve the issue.
We do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused! Our specialists are working diligently to restore the issue, and we do not have a current estimated time of restoral. (Source)
Unfortunately, there’s still no ETA for a fix but it’s highly likely that you won’t have to wait much longer before the company resolves the problem.
That said, we’ll keep track of the situation and will post an update if and when there are any further developments regarding the matter.
