Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Canvaisn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

A quick look at micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many other affected by the same issue. As per reports, while some say the service isn’t working or broken for them, others say it throws an error.

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Any official word on the matter? Yes, the service status page has acknowledged the issue as Error 500 when accessing Templates, Photos and Searching in the Editor:

Update 2 (December 2, 2022)

08:35 pm (IST): Reports on Twitter (1,2,3,4) indicate that Canva is down and not working. Some users claim that they aren’t able to download images as they are greeted with an error.

11:35 pm (IST): The issue has been resolved as reports about the issue on Downdetector seem to have dropped to nil.

Update 3 (January 12, 2023)

09:57 pm (IST): Some Canva users report an ‘internal server crash’ that prevents them from using the tool (1, 2). Canva devs are already looking into it.

11:30 pm (IST): Canva is once again available to its users as the reports related to the ‘internal server crash’ have stopped.
