Update 15/05/26 – 08:40 am (IST): The issue with boards not loading up at all has returned, with various users reporting an outage. All of the boards and pins have disappeared, with endless loading signs.

The For You page is reportedly broken as well, and the graph on Downdetector showed thousands of reports a few hours ago, though it has now reduced to a few hundred reports, indicating that the issue has slowly started getting fixed.

Original article published on Feb 24, 2026, follows:
Pinterest users are hitting a wall right now as boards across accounts appear to have vanished without warning. Reports have been flooding in within the last half an hour or so, with multiple users on Reddit and X pointing to the same problem: their boards are simply gone, or not loading at all.
One thread titled “Every single one of my boards has suddenly disappeared?” racked up over 50 upvotes within minutes of going up, with users in the comments confirming they were all seeing the same thing. Others said they couldn’t view any pins on their boards, even when the boards did show up.
The complaints on X tell a similar story. Users there are saying they opened Pinterest to find blank profiles where their collections used to be. Some noted the issue is specific to the desktop/web version. One user wrote, “I prepared a board on Pinterest for my design idea, only to realize it won’t open.”
Downdetector, which tracks real-time outage reports, is showing a sharp spike in complaints, with numbers climbing close to 500 at the time of writing. That kind of jump is usually a reliable sign that something is off on Pinterest’s end, and not just isolated device or account issues.
Pinterest has not put out any statement yet. Its official status page currently shows no active incidents, which is not unusual for early-stage outages before a company acknowledges them publicly.
We are keeping an eye on the situation and will update this article as more information becomes available.
