Many WordPress users noticed today that visiting the usual websites for StellarWP brands now redirects to Liquid Web.
The familiar standalone sites for Kadence, LearnDash, GiveWP, The Events Calendar, and IconicWP are now consolidated under the main Liquid Web page.
The Kadence theme on WordPress still works, but one user on Reddit posted that updating to Kadence Theme v1.5.0 adds a permanent Liquid Web panel.

This panel cannot be disabled or removed. As mentioned before, the Kadence site also redirects to Liquid Web, under the “Software ecosystem” section. The themes and blocks are still available now, but they’re listed at the very end.
It’s not just with Kadence, but users of all StellarWP brands are reporting something similar. They open the dedicated websites of these plugins, only to find that everything goes straight to Liquid Web. So, what’s exactly going on here?
The story of these brands goes back several years. In 2021, Liquid Web created StellarWP as an umbrella brand for its growing collection of WordPress tools. The company explained that StellarWP would bring plugins together, and it included brands such as SolidWP, The Events Calendar, KadenceWP, and more.
Later on, Liquid Web went on to acquire LearnDash, which joined the existing StellarWP brands. Eventually, IconicWP also joined the group.
Now, in 2026, there seems to be another shift. Liquid Web officially posted about the changes on its blog page. The company is concentrating its WordPress software into four core products.

Kadence for website building, LearnDash for e-learning, The Events Calendar for event management, and Give are the four core products. Instead of needing to navigate through multiple websites and portals, customers can now directly purchase these tools on Liquid Web by Nexcess. This was aimed at the unification of access.
What about the tools outside of these four? SolidWP is now built into Kadence. IconicWP, a Shop Kit, is also built into Kadence, along with Restrict Content Pro. Finally, MemberDash has been merged with LearnDash.
Liquid Web emphasizes that this isn’t a forced migration, and that your current plans/pricing will remain the same unless you choose to upgrade. No new license keys are required, but once your subscription expires, you’ll need to purchase one of the new software plans. If you choose to upgrade, you also get credit for unused time.
Additionally, to those who have been using StellarWP products, you’ll need to log in to a new unified portal. The company makes it clear that old portal links will simply redirect to the new portal.
While Liquid Web has confirmed that all services will remain active and working, a lot of users are dealing with a chaotic situation. The new plans seem to have some theme inconsistencies, an inability to find login and download pages, and more. You can view more information through the X post linked below.
If you’re facing this issue, the official announcement states that there’ll be a unified login page at software.liquidweb.com, and you’ll be able to create/request a new password from there directly.

All in all, the shift towards a cleaner structure under the same wing seems to be aimed at simplification of existing services. We’ll have to wait for feedback from regular users to know whether the changes were worth it.
