YouTube terminated the new Team Technoblade channel just hours after it went live.

The account belonged to Technoblade’s father, known to fans as Technodad. He planned to post unseen clips of the late Minecraft creator, plus personal video diaries. In that short window, it reportedly pulled in roughly 30,000 to 45,000 subscribers before the whole thing disappeared.

A thread in r/Technoblade, which had a screenshot of the “account terminated” message blew up. The same story spread fast to r/youtube, where people called it another “win” (/s) for YouTube’s automated moderation.

The official Team-Technoblade account jumped in on Reddit with an update: “Got banned, naturally. The new channel was too powerful. Working with the YouTube overlords to get everything made right again. Hang tight, nerds.”

Comments turned into a mix of jokes and low-key rage. One user wrote “wrong fu***ng fight, youtube.” Others talked about riding at dawn or blamed the spike in real subscribers for tripping the bot-detection system. A few mentioned similar quick bans on new Hololive channels that also blew up overnight.

The launch happened on April 1, so some wondered if it was a prank. It wasn’t. Technodad had been open about wanting a dedicated space for extra content that the main channel never covered.

Right now, the videos, including the announcement from Technodad himself, are gone. The team says they’re talking to YouTube and expect the channel back soon. That update was several hours ago, but the channel is still not restored. So it might take a while for YouTube to sort things out.
