EA SPORTS FC players report Ultimate Team login issues as servers appear down

EA SPORTS FC players are reporting trouble logging into Ultimate Team, with many saying the servers appear to be down.

On r/EAFC, one user said they were hit with an Ultimate Team connection error and sent back to the main menu, prompting them to ask if the servers were down or if their account had been banned.

A separate thread on r/fut highlighted the issue as a wider outage “across the world,” and the replies quickly filled up with players sharing similar experiences. Several said they got disconnected mid-match, including while they were leading, and worried the game would hand them a loss despite it not being their fault.

Players complained they were in the middle of grinding Rivals points and time-limited objectives, and the outage hit right when they were trying to finish up. Some commenters even asked for extensions or compensation if progress was affected.

Apart from Reddit, there are dozens of complaints over on X as well.

EA also has an official connection troubleshooting page, but if the problem is widespread, there’s usually little to do beyond waiting for service to stabilize.

EA’s official status page doesn’t indicate any ongoing outages at the moment. So we’ll have to wait and see how long it’ll take for the issue to be resolved.
