Update 18/05/26 – 09:04 am (IST): Trello has been experiencing widespread issues for a few hours. The status page indicates that the team is currently working to fix the ongoing slowdowns and delays when performing tasks like creating or deleting comments, and so on.
Update 09/02/26 – 1:05 pm (IST): It looks like this is turning into a monthly routine. Trello is down again for many (including us) as the platform isn’t loading. Reports online suggest users can’t log in while those who’re already logged in are left staring at empty space.
The status page hasn’t been updated to reflect the outage yet.
Update 12/01/26 – 1:40 pm (IST): Exactly one month later, it seems Trello is once again facing some server issues. Users, including our team, are seeing notices stating that they’ve been disconnected from Trello. The status page has yet to be updated with any information regarding the ongoing outage.
Update 12/12/25 – 12:15 pm (IST): Atlassian has finally confirmed that it’s aware of the ongoing issues with Trello with a notice on the official status page.
Original article published on December 12, 2025, follows:
It seems Trello is down and not working for unknown reasons. Our team first noticed the problem as Trello suddenly crashed and just sat with an error message. Upon refreshing, we’re either seeing a “You are disconnected” or a “We’re having trouble loading Trello” error.
To check if it was just a local hiccup, we looked at Downdetector’s Trello page, where users were also reporting trouble accessing the service. The timing lines up with what we saw firsthand, with people using the tracker to confirm they were not alone.
There are also some reports on X (1,2,3).
What makes the situation a bit more confusing is that Trello’s official status page did not show an active incident, and it displayed “No incidents reported today” when checked and all systems appear as “Operational.”
If Trello is still acting up, it is safest to pause heavy editing, refresh the page, and try again once boards reliably load and updates clearly stick.
It’s likely that we’ll see it back up and running normally sooner rather than later.
Developing….
