Google Antigravity down, users report model selector and login issues

Update 22/01/26 – 01:50 pm (IST): At least one user has mentioned that they contacted Google support and were told that the company is aware of the problem and a fix is in the works.

Google Antigravity is experiencing widespread issues today, with users reporting they can’t access the model selector or log in properly. The complaints started hitting social media and Reddit less than an hour ago.

The main issue is a blank model selector screen. Users on r/google_antigravity are seeing empty model lists when trying to start projects. One poster asked directly: “is Google antigravity down?” Others quickly confirmed the same problem.

What’s strange is that the outage isn’t affecting everyone equally. Some users found that switching from their home wifi to mobile hotspot or another network fixes everything instantly.

A Japanese user couldn’t tell if it was network trouble or authentication timing out. Another person noted their wired connection failed completely, but mobile tethering worked fine, suggesting certain ISPs might be blocked.

Login troubles are making things worse. People report getting caught in loops, logging out and back in without success.

The network workaround points to IP filtering or routing problems rather than a total platform crash. This matches what’s documented in Antigravity troubleshooting guides about residential IPs and VPN settings.

Google hasn’t commented on the ongoing outage at the time of this writing, but I suspect a fix will arriver sooner rather than later. 

In the meantime, switching to mobile hotspot seems to work for most affected users. Check your VPN is in TUN mode if you’re using one, and verify your Google account region matches a supported location.
