Facebook is rolling out a significant refresh to public profiles that puts visual presentation front and center. The update brings a cleaner, grid-style format along with several new sections designed to help creators and regular users showcase their identity more effectively.

The new profile UI includes a dedicated Media Kit section, which appears aimed at content creators who pitch to brands and sponsors. Media kits typically display follower counts, engagement metrics, and collaboration history in one convenient package.
Alongside that, Facebook’s adding modules for Interests, Places you’ve visited, Hobbies, and even Offers, where users can drop promotional links. Tech writer Radu Oncescu highlighted these additions with a post on X.
This overhaul is part of a broader redesign Meta announced in December, which emphasized more immersive layouts and grid-based content displays. Search results now appear in neat tile arrangements instead of scrolling lists, and multi-photo posts get organized into Instagram-like galleries. The company is clearly borrowing visual cues from Instagram and TikTok to make profiles feel more scannable and modern.
Early reactions from users have been mixed. Some Facebook members have already noticed the changes, with one creator pointing out that the redesign now displays total post counts on certain profiles. That sparked conversations about consistency and how much effort goes into maintaining an active presence on the platform. Other users spotted the new interface and questioned whether Facebook’s trying too hard to mimic Instagram’s look and feel.
The Media Kit and Interests features seem tailored for creators, especially those already using Facebook’s Branded Content tools or Creator Marketplace. For everyone else, the changes mostly mean profiles look more polished and photo-heavy.
Whether that translates to better engagement or just another round of interface whiplash remains to be seen. That said, Facebook isn’t the only platform getting a tweaked profile UI. Meta is also testing a new ‘Friends’ counter on Instagram profiles too. You can read more about that here.
