Update 18/11/25 – 08:14 pm (IST): Cloudflare has implemented a comprehensive fix and officially believes the incident is resolved. Following earlier patches that recovered Access, WARP, and dashboard services, the company is now in the monitoring phase to ensure all systems remain stable.
While the team continues to watch for residual errors, they claim the broad application service impact has been remediated, and the internet should be returning to normal. That said, we personally are still noticing errors on platforms like X and other websites.

Just a few minutes ago, Cloudflare hit a major snag that knocked huge parts of the web sideways. Starting right around 11:48 UTC on November 18, 2025, their global network started acting up, spitting out errors left and right.
X turned into a mess — feeds froze, images wouldn’t load, and posting felt impossible for a bit. Users were seeing a “Cannot retrieve posts” error. Plus, tons of other sites threw up 500 errors or that familiar Cloudflare page telling you to wait a couple minutes.

Posts rolled in fast: “Cloudflare goes down and 90% of the internet is unusable,” one user said. Another called it straight — “half of the internet is not working.”

Downdetector charts shot vertical with complaint spikes for Cloudflare and everything downstream.
Cloudflare put up a quick note on their status page admitting they’re looking into something that could hit a bunch of customers, with more info coming.

We felt it too — caught the trouble early but couldn’t post about it because, yeah, the outage got us as well. Lasted just long enough to remind everyone how much stuff runs through one company these days.
While the problem seems to have recovered slowly, it’s still not back to normal. We’re still experiencing issues with websites loading, and X keeps going back and forth between loading and not loading.
Still, days like this make you wonder what happens if the next one sticks around longer. One glitch in the pipes, and poof — your whole feed vanishes.
