Google has officially begun rolling out the November 2025 Pixel Drop alongside the monthly security update, giving Pixel users a fresh batch of AI-powered features, personalization tools, and essential bug fixes. The updates are available for all supported Pixel phones and tablets, with rollout continuing over the next few days, depending on region and carrier.

November 2025 Pixel Drop brings new features and AI upgrades

The November 2025 Pixel Drop is one of the biggest yet, introducing new customization options, smarter notifications, and enhanced safety tools. The update brings several notable changes for Pixel 6 and newer devices, as well as select features that extend to all Android phones.

Among the most eye-catching additions is the debut of Pixel Themes, starting with a special “Wicked: For Good” theme pack. Available for Pixel 6 and newer, the pack lets users customize wallpapers, icons, system sounds, and even GIFs inspired by the upcoming movie. Google notes that the theme pack will be available for a limited time only.

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new in the November Pixel Drop:

  • Scam detection in Messages: Pixel 6 and newer users in the U.S. will now get alerts about potential scams within notifications from popular messaging apps.
  • VIP priority & crisis badges: Pixel 6 and newer devices will prioritize message notifications from VIPs and display crisis badges in the Contacts widget.
  • Notification summaries: Pixel 9 and newer (excluding Pixel 9a) can now generate summaries for long message threads.
  • Notification organizer: Also exclusive to Pixel 9 and newer (except 9a), this tool intelligently groups and silences less important alerts.
  • Power saving mode in Google Maps: Pixel 10 users can now toggle a simplified navigation layout via the power button, extending battery life by up to four hours.
  • Scam detection expansion: Google’s AI-based scam detection during calls is now available in the U.K., Ireland, India, Australia, and Canada for Pixel 9 and newer devices, supporting English, French, and Hindi.
  • Call Notes expansion: The on-device Gemini Nano-powered Call Notes feature which records, transcribes, and summarizes calls is expanding to more regions, including Australia, Canada, the U.K., Ireland, and Japan.

Google is also expanding features originally launched on the Pixel 10 series:

  • Device Health & Support hub now available for Pixel 6 through Pixel 9.
  • Pixel Journal expands to Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 series.
  • Magnifier now available on Pixel Fold models.
  • New Sound Matters collection – Wild Hokkaido sounds pack added to Google Sounds.

Two additional features are rolling out beyond the Pixel lineup:

  • Remix in Google Messages: AI-powered “Remix” lets users generate playful responses and stickers using Nano Banana. It’s rolling out in English in select regions.
  • Personalized edits in Google Photos: Available in the U.S., this new tool uses face grouping to provide more natural, customized photo edits.

November 2025 Pixel security update brings stability and performance fixes

Alongside the feature drop, Google has also released the November 2025 security update for all supported Pixel models from the Pixel 7a to the Pixel 10 series, including the Pixel Tablet and Fold, bringing several important fixes and performance improvements.

While the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, and 7 Pro are yet to receive this month’s patch for reasons Google hasn’t specified, the rollout is live for newer models and expected to continue gradually over the coming weeks.

Here’s what’s fixed in this month’s patch:

Audio

  • Fixed an issue causing occasional system instability and slowdowns under certain conditions.

Battery & charging

  • General improvements for charging performance and battery efficiency.

Camera

  • Fixed a bug that caused rainbow-like color patterns when using ultra-wide or telephoto lenses.

Framework

  • Fixed an issue preventing some apps from loading properly.
  • Fixed a bug affecting webcam mode functionality when using connected devices.

Telephony

  • Addressed instability and intermittent failures with emergency calling in specific conditions.

The update also bumps the build numbers to BP3A.251105.015 for most devices, while Pixel 10 series phones receive BD3A.251105.010.E1, with region-specific variants for Japan and carrier-locked models.

Both the Pixel Drop features and the security fixes are rolling out now. If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can manually check by going to Settings > System > Software updates to pull down the new builds. Keep in mind that carrier and region variations mean the update may take a few days to reach your specific device.
