Google’s hardware ecosystem has been buzzing lately. From the Pixel 10’s looming privacy crossroads with GrapheneOS to the Pixel Tablet’s upcoming multitasking revamp and glowing early impressions for the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold. GrapheneOS also confirmed it has made “significant progress” toward Pixel 10 support as it eyes a possible partnership with a major OEM.

But as the dust settles from those headlines, Google has rolled out a fresh batch of updates and deals for its current lineup, particularly around wearables and wellness. Here’s the latest from the Pixel world over the past 24 hours.

Gemini-powered Fitbit Health Coach lands in preview

Google’s long-promised AI health assistant is finally here. Starting October 28, the Gemini-based Fitbit Personal Health Coach is launching as a public preview for Fitbit Premium users with a Pixel Watch or Fitbit device — Android first, iOS coming soon.

The feature turns Gemini into your personal wellness companion, offering chat-based coaching on fitness, sleep, and general health goals. Users can ask questions, tweak their training plans, and view progress insights directly within Fitbit’s newly redesigned app, now divided into four cleanly organized tabs: Today, Fitness, Sleep, and Health.

The rollout is as much an experiment as it is a launch. Google says the preview will gather user feedback before expanding next year alongside new Fitbit hardware. Expect Gemini’s capabilities to grow steadily over time, reflecting Google’s push to integrate AI deeply into health tracking and wellness.

Pixel Watch (2022) gets its final guaranteed update based on Wear OS 5.1

In a quieter but equally notable move, Google has released the October 2025 update (build BW1A.251005.003.W1) for the original Pixel Watch. It’s still based on Wear OS 5.1 (Android 15) and carries the same June 5, 2025 security patch, suggesting this is primarily a maintenance release with security updates and bug fixes.

This marks the final guaranteed update for the 2022 model, which launched with Wear OS 3.5 (Android 11) and has since marched through four Android versions. It won’t see the upcoming Material You Expressive redesign coming with Wear OS 6, but app updates via the Play Store will continue.

If you own the first-gen Pixel Watch, repeatedly tapping “Your watch is up to date” in Settings > System > System updates can help trigger the OTA. To speed things up, switch off Bluetooth to force a Wi-Fi download. Google has also posted the factory images for manual flashing.

Pixel Watch 3 deal: 45mm Wi-Fi model down to $199

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your wristwear, the Pixel Watch 3 is now just $199 on Amazon, a massive discount from its original $349–$399 price. This deal applies specifically to the 45mm Wi-Fi version, making it arguably the best Wear OS smartwatch value on the market right now.

The Pixel Watch 3 remains a polished experience with its domed-glass design, deep Google integration (Assistant, Maps, Wallet), and full Fitbit tracking suite. Unless you really need the newer sensors on the Pixel Watch 4, this discount makes the older model an easy recommendation for Android users seeking a premium smartwatch without the flagship price tag.

Pixel Tablet price drops to $279 ahead of Black Friday

Over on Amazon, the 128GB Google Pixel Tablet (Porcelain) has dropped to $279, down from $399, the second-lowest price we’ve seen this year.

At this price, the Pixel Tablet remains a great companion device in the Google ecosystem, pulling double duty as both a smart home hub (with its speaker dock) and a full-fledged Android tablet. With the multitasking upgrade reportedly in development, this discount could be the perfect excuse to pick one up before the Black Friday rush.

Between the Pixel Watch’s final update, the health-focused Gemini preview, and sharp discounts on core hardware, Google’s message this week is clear: the company is all-in on AI-powered personal wellness and ecosystem longevity.

While Pixel 10 and its privacy implications continue to dominate headlines, these quieter moves show how Google is strengthening the connective tissue — the “everyday experiences” — that make its ecosystem stickier than ever.
