Users of the Opera GX browser are reporting a very weird issue today. Many have taken to Reddit to share that their browser is making webpage elements – like text – move up and down in slow motion. Some have even shared video proofs. Take a look:

Many users have commented on these threads confirming they are facing the same problem, and at least one user confirmed their browser font got changed as well.

I could see a couple of comments wherein users were able to fix the problem. Basically, fingers are being pointed at the Let’s Game It Out web mod. However, since the confirmations are limited at the moment, I am not sure if these workarounds are universal, so your mileage may vary.

Reports of this problem are very limited at the moment, and it’s very difficult to say what actually triggered this issue. We’re keeping a close watch, and until there’s a fix, those who are affected can try the aforementioned workaround to see if it works.

My interest in technology and writing started back in 2010. Since then, I have written for many leading publications, including Computerworld, GSMArena, TechSpot, HowtoForge, LinuxJournal, and MakeTechEasier to name a few. Here at PiunikaWeb, I started with covering smartphone related breaking stories as well as some other interesting stuff, but now I have switched over to more of a leadership role. I also take care of several operational aspects of the website. Some of my current responsibilities include business development, and working with Piunika to make sure we’re progressing as envisioned. If you want to get in touch, I am active on LinkedIN, and also available on Twitter/X.
