Say what you will about new phone launches, but every year, it’s the early adopters who turn into unofficial bug reporters. This time, it’s Google’s shiny Pixel 10 collection under the magnifying glass. From glitchy AI tools to hardware hiccups, early adopters are venting about problems that make the shiny new device feel a bit rough around the edges.
One complaint revolves around Magic Cue, a touted AI feature. But some users are apparently reporting that their early testing shows the cameras are, in some instances, even worse than older models. People moving from a previous Pixel are finding themselves stuck, uncertain if their years of travel logs, favorite routes, and past memories are gone for good.

It doesn’t stop there. Some new owners tried using Google Photos’ headline-grabbing “Ask Photos” feature on their Pixel 10, only to discover it’s missing entirely. Moreover, these users reporting the issue are in the US, where the feature is supposed to be available already.
Apart from this, Google’s new ‘Calling Cards’ feature, which rolled out days ago, is also not syncing for some who just switched to the Pixel 10. This means people are having to set up the Calling Cards for contacts from scratch.
While there was confusion about whether the feature is even supposed to sync, tech sleuth Assemble Debug confirmed, through strings in the app’s code, that it’s indeed meant to sync across your account.
And just to round things off, a bug with Android Auto has already been confirmed in the media, not just in user reports. For some, the Pixel 10 flat-out refuses to cooperate with their car’s infotainment system — causing freezing, disconnects, or simply not working at all. Google’s own support forums acknowledge this, so it’s not just a couple of isolated cases. That said, a fix for the issues will be rolling out shortly. Keep an eye out for any updates.
