Google is preparing to launch its Pixel 10 series with a fresh array of colors. A new leak has confirmed the full palette of options for all the upcoming Pixel 10 models. This comes as Google also rolls out an update to its Android 16 QPR1 Beta program.

Pixel 10 series brings a splash of new hues

If you like you’re having a Déjà vu moment, you’re probably right. Just a few days ago, we highlighted a leak about the Pixel 10 coming with new color options. However, at the time, the leak didn’t list out every color for every model. But now, a fresh report from Android Headlines has shed light on all the color options.

According to the publication, the standard Pixel 10 will come in Ultra Blue, Limoncello, Iris, and a new shade called Midnight. Ultra Blue is described as a royal blue that will be exclusive to the base model. Limoncello is a mid-tone color. Iris is a familiar purple tone, seen before on the Pixel 9a. Midnight replaces Obsidian, offering a dark gray instead of a pure black.

For the larger Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, the color options include Sterling Gray, Light Porcelain, Midnight, and Smoky Green. Sterling Gray is a lighter gray than Midnight. Light Porcelain is an off-white, a slight variation from the previous Porcelain. Smoky Green is a darker green. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will also feature Sterling Gray and Smoky Green.

It seems Google is saying goodbye to Obsidian and Porcelain, colors that have been staples since the Pixel 6 series. This change signals a fresh direction for the Pixel design, offering more diverse choices for consumers. These new colors are expected to be officially unveiled at Google’s Made By Google event on August 20.

The Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1.1 update is available for a range of Pixel devices. These include the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, and Pixel Tablet series devices. However, some users, including those with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, have reported not receiving the update. Android Police noted that the Pixel 9 Pro XL is not even listed among the eligible devices for this beta. This suggests a possible intentional delay for that specific model.

Users already enrolled in the Android 16 Beta will receive the QPR1 Beta 1.1 update automatically. Google encourages users to provide feedback through the Android Beta Feedback app or on the official Android Beta Program subreddit.
