Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro get price cut on Flipkart in India ahead of Pixel 9 series launch

While the Google Pixel 9 series is expected to be officially unveiled in a couple of weeks, those who were waiting for a price drop on the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro can rejoice. Flipkart is currently selling both Google flagship phones from 2023 with a hefty discount.

The Pixel 8, which was originally priced at Rs 75,999 ($908 USD), is now available for as low as Rs 61,999 ($740 USD) for the 128GB storage and 8GB RAM variant. This represents a significant price cut of Rs 14,000 ($167 USD). However, the deal gets even sweeter for ICICI bank credit and debit card users, who can avail an extra Rs 4,000 ($48 USD) discount, bringing the final price down to an attractive Rs 57,999 ($693 USD). This totals a substantial discount of Rs 18,000 ($215 USD), including flat and bank offers.

For those looking at the higher-end model, the Pixel 8 Pro has also received a notable price reduction. Initially launched at Rs 1,06,999 ($1,278 USD), it’s now listed at Rs 98,999 ($1,182 USD) on Flipkart, reflecting an Rs 8,000 ($96 USD) flat discount. ICICI bank users can benefit from an additional Rs 10,000 ($119 USD) discount, making the final price Rs 88,999 ($1,063 USD). Like its smaller sibling, the combined discounts and offers on the Pixel 8 Pro also amount to Rs 18,000 ($215 USD).

It’s worth noting that both models are eligible for exchange offers, which could potentially lower the cost even further, depending on the device being traded in. But beware of Flipkart’s somewhat sketchy trade-in practices, as you might not get the amount quoted for your old device.

Potential buyers should act fast, however, as these deals are likely to be available for a limited time or while stocks last.
