Google’s giving Android 15 a fresh coat of paint with a Material You makeover, but it seems they’ve accidentally (?) left the Pixel Buds Pro out in the cold. The new Volume menu is looking sleek and modern, but there’s a glaring omission: those handy controls for your noise-canceling earbuds.

Previously, you could easily tweak your Pixel Buds Pro settings right from the volume slider – a convenient little spot for switching between noise cancellation, transparency, and regular mode. But now, that option has vanished like a puff of smoke with the new Android 15 Beta 4.

Notably, this is still a beta update, and we’re hoping Google will restore Pixel Buds Pro controls before the final release. In the meantime, you’ll have to take the scenic route to adjust your earbuds’ settings: dive into Quick Settings, tap the Bluetooth tile, and then hunt for the gear icon. It’s a bit of a detour, but you’ll survive.

Let’s hope Google hears our cries and brings back those Pixel Buds Pro controls. After all, a good pair of earbuds deserves a good user experience.
