Google Pixel 8 on sale for as low as INR 49,999 ($599) on Flipkart in India

If you’re in the market for a new phone, the Pixel 8 might just be the phone to get. Flipkart is currently offering the Google Pixel 8 for as low as INR 49,999 ($599) when coupled with a few offers. This sale is part of Flipkart’s Big Saving Days sale that’s set to start on May 2 (early access) and end on May 9. However, the sale offer for the Pixel 8 is already live. So you can buy the phone with the offers right away.

Like always, there’s a small catch to this INR 49,999 ($599) offer. The phone is currently on sale for INR 62,999 ($755), a big drop from its launch price of INR 75,999 ($910). However, if you have an ICICI bank credit card, you can avail a discount of INR 8,000 ($95.86). This brings the price down to INR 54,999 ($659). On top of that, Flipkart is offering an additional exchange bonus of INR 5,000 ($60). Hence, the effective price of the phone comes down to INR 49,999 ($599).

Notably, the ICICI bank credit card discount is only applicable when the value of the smartphone is INR 25,000 ($300) or higher. Therefore, if you exchange a phone of high value (highly unlikely) that drops the price below INR 25,000 ($300), the ICICI bank credit card discount won’t apply.

This offer also currently only applies to the Coral color variant of the device. To get it at the offer price, you need to have an ICICI bank credit card which will knock off INR 3,000 ($35.95) from the price. Additionally, you can get an INR 2,000 ($24) exchange bonus, effectively bringing the price down to INR 31,999 ($383).

Both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 7a are great smartphones, especially if you’re looking out for good camera phones. However, if heavy usage like gaming is your priority, I’d suggest steering clear and considering other options. After all, Flipkart’s Big Saving Days sale has discounts on many different smartphones, including the likes of the iPhone 14, Galaxy S23 FE and so on.
