Those who installed the Android 15 beta on their Pixel devices are now receiving the Beta 1.2 OTA update. As the slight bump in the version indicates, this is a minor update aimed at fixing some known bugs and issues that were present in the previous releases.

The update is rolling out with the build AP31.240322.027, up from the previous Beta 1.1 release — AP31.240322.023. It retains the April 2024 security patch too. Here’s the changelog for Android 15 Beta 1.2:

The update is rolling out for the following devices:

  • Pixel 6
  • Pixel 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6a
  • Pixel 7
  • Pixel 7 Pro
  • Pixel 7a
  • Pixel Tablet
  • Pixel Fold
  • Pixel 8
  • Pixel 8 Pro

I received the update on the Pixel 7a with a file size of 25.42 MB. If the OTA package hasn’t arrived for your device yet, you can download and flash the OTA image instead. Alternatively, you can grab a factory image for a clean install.

I cover fast-moving stories across apps, online platforms, and everyday tech — phones, wearables, consoles, and whatever else people are fighting with this week. Bugs, rollouts, scams, policy enforcement, and the occasional internet-culture rabbit hole are all fair game. My goal is simple — make confusing tech news readable.
