Google asks fans what made them join #TeamPixel in 2023

For some time now, Google has been trying hard to promote the virtues of its Pixel devices to make them stand out from those of other brands. However, in a recent post, the company let users tell why they decided to join the Google Pixel family in 2023 to find out what really convinced them.

Using the #TeamPixel hashtag, Google encouraged users to share why they joined the Pixel device family this year. We have selected some of the most commented-upon answers that seem to represent the point of view of the user who switched to the Pixel brand.

When talking about Google Pixel phones, there are a couple of aspects that always stand out above the rest: the camera quality and the clean Android experience. That’s exactly what convinced users like Stock Short to buy a device from the brand this year.

Of course, as Google constantly promotes, the AI-powered features and seven years of software support are also differentiating factors in the industry, and it is exactly what (along with the camera quality) convinced user @Jc to become part of the Pixel family.

There are some people who are just getting into the Pixel ecosystem this year with a phone, but the overall experience is even making them consider moving completely from the Apple ecosystem, as user Rich says.

On the other hand, there are also cases of users who want to have something different from the predominant brand in the Android industry. This is what convinced Legofan to buy a Google Pixel instead of a Samsung Galaxy this year.
