The rivalry between Android and iOS is quite well known, but that doesn’t mean it has to be ‘hostile’, right? That’s what Google has tried to reflect with its series of #BestPhonesForever ads, starring a Pixel phone and an iPhone sharing wholesome moments.
Now, in the latest #BestPhonesForever ad, a Google Pixel is asking its iPhone friend about its holiday wishlist, and the results are pretty funny.
iPhone wants for holiday the Google Pixel AI-powered features in latest #BestPhonesForever ad
As we all know, Google is quite proud of all the unique AI-powered features built into their phones, especially in the latest Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro series. In the new #BestPhonesForever ad, when the Google Pixel asks the iPhone about its holiday wishlist, the iconic Apple device responds that it wants some of ‘all that AI stuff’ that Santa gave the Pixel last time.
The iPhone mentions that it would like to receive features such as the powerful creation capabilities of the Magic Editor, Best Take for the best group selfies, or Audio Magic Eraser to record videos with the best audio quality.
However, the Google Pixel phone answers that all those AI-powered features were not a gift from Santa, but from ‘a bunch of Google engineers’ who worked hard on it. Then, finishing the ad in a fun way, the iPhone asks if it can receive as a Christmas gift a bunch of Google engineers who can give it those features. You can see the full ad below:
These kinds of ads seem like an ingenious and fun way to promote the virtues of Google Pixel phones, while showing both devices sharing wholesome moments, far from the toxicity that can be seen in some areas of the internet among fans.
