By now, perhaps you have already heard about the Google Pixel 8 Pro and its multiple AI-powered features like ‘Magic Eraser’, which is now starring in the new ‘The Great Ex-cape’ campaign that gives you the opportunity to win the phone.

The event (promoted by Argos) will take place at London’s St. Pancras International Station. If you want to know how to participate, here’s all you need to know.

Argos ‘The Great Ex-cape’ campaign offers you the chance to get a Google Pixel 8 Pro for free

‘The Great Ex-cape’ campaign will happen on November 16 and invites you to ‘recover’ photos that you have forgotten or archived due to the presence of ex-partners (or even ex-friends), using the Google Pixel 8 Pro ‘Magic Eraser’ feature.

For those who don’t know, ‘Magic Eraser’ allows you to easily remove unwanted elements from any photo in just a few taps. The power of generative AI will be responsible for ‘filling’ the space where the object or person used to be, so that it fits in with the rest of the pic. Basically, you could delete your ex-partner or ex-friends from old pictures, as if they had never been there!

Here’s how to participate

To participate in ‘The Great Ex-cape’ campaign and try to win a Google Pixel 8 Pro, all you have to do is go to London’s St. Pancras International Station on November 16 (between 10 AM-2 PM). There, you will have to visit the pop-up on the mezzanine level (The Grand Terrace), and try to find one of the ten unlockable padlocks.

If you manage to be among the lucky ones who find one of the ten locks, you will leave there with a new Google Pixel 8 Pro for free, it’s that simple! Then, you can use it to recover the value of those old photos where some not-so-loved people are present. The difficulty will be in finding the unlockable locks among hundreds of other locks on the fence, but you won’t lose anything by trying.

If you’re in London and interested in buying a new Pixel 8 Pro, why not first try to get it for free thanks to ‘The Great Ex-cape’ campaign? We wish good luck to all our readers who participate, and feel free to leave us a comment if you win the device.
