New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 25, 2023) follows:

Brawl Stars players are undoubtedly a passionate and dedicated bunch, but recent reports suggest they’re unable to change third brawler in Duels. It’s an issue that’s got Brawl Stars enthusiasts scratching their heads and tapping their screens in frustration.

Duels are a thrilling game mode in Brawl Stars where players go head-to-head against each other in a 3v3 showdown. The objective is to outsmart, outmaneuver, and outgun your opponents. However, now that all sounds exciting, but where does the issue begin?

Unable to change third brawler in Duels in Brawl Stars

When players select Duels, they are presented with their pre-selected brawlers. Players can easily change their first and second brawlers. However, when it comes to the third brawler slot, something goes haywire. Players find themselves stuck with the brawler initially chosen, unable to switch to their preferred choice.

The result? Disgruntled players who are unable to maximize their strategic potential in Duels. This issue not only affects the gameplay but also hampers the overall enjoyment of the game. Brawl Stars is all about strategy, adaptation, and quick thinking, and when players are robbed of their ability to switch their third brawler, it feels like a major letdown.

The frustration among Brawl Stars players is palpable, with multiple players taking to social media platforms to voice their concerns. On Reddit and Twitter, I found threads filled with comments and complaints about this third brawler issue.

Potential workarounds

Fortunately, I have come across a few workarounds to tackle this issue temporarily. If you’re one of those players banging your head against the wall, these might just be your lifelines:

    1. Friendly Battles: One workaround is to head into friendly battles. In this mode, you can change your third brawler without any issues.

    2. Shuffle Brawler Slots: Another nifty trick is to shuffle your brawler slots. In your first slot, choose the brawler that’s currently stuck in your third slot. Then, select the brawler you actually want to use in the first slot. Finally, select your desired brawler for the third slot.

While these workarounds may not provide a perfect solution, they do offer some respite for players battling the third brawler issue.

Update 1 (October 25, 2023)

They have also recommend changing it in friendly mode, like I did.
