Update 1 (September 29, 2023)
12:50 pm (IST): Recent reports (1,2,3,4,5,6) suggest that this issue has recently resurfaced. Fortunately, the YouTube support team has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently investigating it.
However, no ETA for the bug fix has been mentioned.
Original story (published on December 14, 2022) follows:
Owned by Google, YouTube is among the most popular video-sharing and social media platforms in the world.
It has more than 2.5 billion monthly users, who watch more than a billion hours of videos every single day. Most of the content is user-generated, which also includes collaborations between influencers and sponsors.
But like any other platform, YouTube also suffers from the occasional bugs and glitches that may affect the users’ experiences.
Latest YouTube videos not showing
Some are reporting an issue (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) where the most recently uploaded video does not appear on their homepage.
Content creators are said to be facing this issue, even after setting the visibility to ‘Public’ for hours.
Hey @TeamYouTube — can you tell me why my shorts video isn’t showing on my channel? It’s Public, but its not showing under my shorts category? Thank you.

@TeamYouTube Hey There, I just posted a vid to my channel and it’s showing on peoples sub feeds and being recommended, but it’s not appearing on my channel at all when you check recent uploads or video list. Any idea why this is happening and /or how to fix would be appreciated!

Affected content creators complain that the latest video shown on their channel is not the one that they last uploaded. This has affected the view count and reach of their videos, as subscribers are not able to view them.
If the reports are anything to go by, this issue appears to have popped up in the last few days and has been affecting YouTube creators across all platforms.
Official acknowledgment
YouTube has officially acknowledged the issue and assured its users that they are working on fixing it. Although, it should be noted that an ETA has not been released for the time being.
YouTube representatives on Twitter have suggested some users to log out and sign back into their accounts to see if they could view the video on their homepage.
Those who are still facing issues can send their video URLs to the YouTube team so that they can look into the issue and help resolve it.
Potential workaround
We did come across a potential workaround that may help solve the problem. Someone was able to fix it by deleting and reuploading the video to their channel.
That said, we will keep an eye on the issue where the latest videos are not showing up on YouTube and update this story with the latest developments.
