Samsung Galaxy S23 owners were excited about the recent release of the One UI 6.0 beta 3 update, but it seems that this update has brought an unexpected issue – random reboots.

The One UI 6.0 beta 3 includes a bunch of fixes and new features. However, the latest beta update seems to have brought a frustrating glitch as well.

Galaxy S23 One UI 6.0 Beta 3 causing random reboots

After updating to One UI 6.0 beta 3, several Galaxy S23 users are reporting that their phone is randomly rebooting. Here are some reports for reference:

Twice now, on beta 3, my phone has restarted by itself. Also Pandora starts playing by itself upon phone start up. I have submitted error reports twice. Hopefully we get a hot fix for this (Source)

Has anyone else been having random restarts after installing the ZWI8 update? Mine has done it like 4 times now (Source)

This problem has understandably frustrated many users who were looking forward to the new features and improvements of the beta update.

Fortunately, one user who experienced the random reboot problem has discovered a potential workaround. According to them, turning off the ‘Auto Optimization’ feature in Device Care seems to resolve the problem.

Furthermore, it’s reassuring to know that Samsung is aware of this issue and is actively working to address it.

One of the affected users has reportedly spoken to Samsung’s tech support where they confirmed that the company is currently analyzing crash logs to identify the root cause of the problem.

This means that this bug might get fixed soon, probably in the next beta. Rest assured, we will make sure to update this article with the latest information.
