"Apple is running out of ink": Netizens react to new iPhone 15 colors

Apple fans had been excitedly waiting for the reveal of the latest iPhone 15 series. Several people were excited and curious to see what new features and design aspects the tech giant would introduce.

However, a subset of the Apple community got upset when the lineup launched recently. And the source of their dismay lay in an unexpected area – the color options available for the non-Pro variants.

It’s noteworthy that both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available to purchase in blue, black, green, pink, and yellow colors.

Although, fans (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) allege that the colors featured in the non-pro variants of the phone look washed out and boring.

They are unhappy as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max feature more textured and darker shades. Notably, one can purchase them in black titanium, blue titanium, natural titanium, and white titanium colors.

Some have observed that the yellow color on the non-pro variants looks the same as that of a used transparent silicone case. While others argue that they will be paying more money for a new dull-colored smartphone.

An enthusiast has even taken a jibe at the company and said that the community needs to set up a GoFundMe for Apple. They allege that the company might be running out of blue ink.

And due to this, the company decided to produce the non-pro variant smartphones with dull or pastel colors. A few contend that even though the rest of the shades look fine, the blue color looks like white.

Fans were expecting that Apple would release the phones in vibrant colors, just like the 13th and 14th series.

Not only the blue, every color on the 15/15 plus is so bland. I thought the normal iPhones are supposed to be fun looking and colorful. And on top of that, as another post pointed out, the wallpaper looks like a ballsack.

An enthusiast who upgraded before the launch of the 13th series says that they would’ve opted for a 13 Pro in Sierra Blue if they had the chance.

Another says that the shades on both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus appear as if they were bleached.
