Decided to test a jumpshot and went to the Gatorade facility for practice. Rented a private court and it lets me walk around but I can only equip ball and “got next” on the court, so I have to press something to be able to initiate drills/shootaround? (Source)

i just want to shoot around because I equipped a new jumpshot, but I can’t shoot around because every time I walk into the training facility it does nothing after I press L1 to equip ball, I can still move around but then a got next button appears on the bottom and pressing that makes my player freeze completely. and eventually it takes me back to the main menu after 5 minutes. The Gatorade Training Facility is an excellent place for players to level up their overall ratings and earn VC (Virtual Currency) while practicing their shots. Unfortunately, due to this issue, players are unable utilize it.

Players have reported (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) that when they attempt to change courts, the game freezes, or they encounter error codes when trying to enter the court.

Although this issue has yet to be resolved, the 2K development team has acknowledged it and is actively investigating.

NBA 2K24 players getting banned for quitting Gatorade Court

The issue becomes more problematic as players are now getting banned from the game for quitting the ‘Gatorade Court.’

This situation has created an unfortunate cycle where players become stuck in the court due to the first issue. Leading them to quit and quitting results in bans.

Hey, we need to fix getting banned from leaving the Gatorade facility or being lagged out of a game or being frozen out of a game. These bands are out of hand and definitely need to be nerfed (Source)

Unfortunately, unlike the previous issue, the developers have not acknowledged this problem. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if there are any further developments.
