Roblox has taken down some of their content after BIG Games pushed the game maker due to copyright infringement and after it caught attention of gamers, Boycott BIG Games started trending on X.

The matter began when Roblox took down certain content created by BIG Games due to alleged copyright infringement. In response, the hashtag #BoycottBIGGames has been trending on the X (formerly Twitter).

As a result, Roblox decided to take down specific games or content created by BIG Games, citing concerns about copyright infringement.

Previously, the link would open Tree Chop Simulator. But now when you try to open it, the page says the content has been deleted. Similarly, ‘Find the Pet Simulator X Pets’ has also been removed.

Boycott BIG Games trends on X after some content gets taken down on Roblox

This decision wasn’t very well accepted by several gamers, especially fans of the affected games.

Also, they began using the hashtag #BoycottBIGGames to protest against BIG Games and its content. This hashtag quickly gained traction and started trending on X.

Furthermore, a BIG Games developer has responded to some furious gamers (1, 2) and said that the content that was removed was being stolen and sold for several dollar.

Moreover, he said that they don’t take down the games unless they make profit using their IP.

A gamer pointed out that there’s still some content that is making money using BIG Games’ pet icons. On this, the developer responded that they already filed for it, but Roblox is taking a long time to remove them.

However, it remains to be seen how BIG Games and Roblox will respond to this boycott and whether a resolution can be reached that satisfies all parties involved.
