Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 01, 2023) follows:

The Year 8 Season 3 update for Rainbow Six Siege arrived on August 29, 2023. It appears to have introduced a bug that is causing some Rainbow Six Siege players’ rank to get stuck, missing, or not showing.

Rainbow Six Siege rank getting stuck, missing or not showing

The bug seems to be affecting players across all platforms and ranks (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8).

Some players have reported that their rank has simply disappeared. This means that they cannot see their rank icon or name on the game’s interface, such as the main menu, the lobby, or the end-of-match screen.

They also cannot access their rank statistics or history, such as their rank points, wins, losses, or matches played. There are also reports of players not getting their rank at all, even after winning or losing matches.

The bug is frustrating for players who have put a lot of time and effort into improving their skills. They want to see their rank progress and achievements, as well as compare themselves with other players.

I played few matches and at least 4 of them was wins but i am still unranked and when i go to see My rank its just infinite loading

Does anyone know why I haven’t gotten my rank despite winning two ranked matches and why I havent received last season rewards?

This issue has left those who enjoy playing the ranked mode facing a lot of uncertainty and dissatisfaction.

Players who are unable to see their progress feel discouraged and say that there is no point in playing ranked matches at the moment.

Additionally, they are unsure if the system is calculating their rank points correctly or if it is matching them with appropriate opponents.

We hope that Ubisoft will fix this issue soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for the latest updates on this topic.

Update 1 (September 4, 2023)

08:43 am (IST): It appears that the issue where rank is stuck or not showing up is still present (1, 2, 3, 4) even after a week into the latest season.

Update 2 (September 5, 2023)

05:33 pm (IST): Ubisoft Support team has finally commented on the missing rank issue. According to them, ranks have been disabled to help with the current instabilities in the game.

Hi. Just to clarify, it’s not a visual glitch. The game team has decided to disable the display of ranked stats and information to help with the current instabilities. Rest assured, no data is being lost, so your rank is being tracked. Once there is an update, we will share it.

Update 3 (September 6, 2023)

05:58 pm (IST): For those who haven’t completed ‘good as gold achievement’ will be able to know their rank when they reach it. A Redditor has suggested this as one of the ways to know your rank.

But more than how to find rank, this can be used to know if players have reached gold rank, if they haven’t yet.

Update 4 (September 7, 2023)

05:42 pm (IST): Ubisoft has released a new statement on this issue that has been affecting players. The company plans to release a fix on September 12, but more fixes may be needed in the future.
