Some Sky Glass TV users are experiencing a problem where the Amazon Prime Video app is not working or showing a black screen while sound is still playing.
For those who are not aware, the new Sky Glass has all the capabilities you might already use on your smart TV. It also has the special addition of having Sky incorporated right into the device.

Having said that, the Amazon Prime Video app’s blank screen issue for Sky Glass TV users is rather annoying. Even more frustrating is the fact that they are unable to see anything while the sound is still being played.

The black screen effectively renders the app unusable, preventing viewers from enjoying their favorite movies and TV shows. Sadly, resetting to factory settings only provides a brief relief as the bug keeps reappearing.
It has surely left a portion of Sky Glass TV users scratching their heads for a solution. Some people can even watch the subtitles in addition to hearing the sound, but they are just unable to watch any video.
Amazon Prime not showing video in sky glass. I could hear audio and subtitles are available. I have switched off the TV and turn it on. I have checked and ensured, the TV has latest software version.
With no solution in sight, this problem has become incredibly frustrating for the affected users.
Fortunately, Sky Help team has acknowledged the issue with Prime Video app on Sky Glass TV. The team is currently working on a resolution.
There is currently no potential workaround that can fix this bug for good. So affected users can only wait for the team to come up with a solution at the earliest.
