In the latest July 2023 update for the Moto Razr+, Android Central mentioned that Motorola has yet to address issues with the calendar panel not showing events on the external display.

It is a unique foldable smartphone that offers a different user experience than other devices. The external display is one of its key features that sets it apart from other foldable phones.

However, some Moto Razr+ users started reporting an issue with the device where some calendar events are not showing up on the external display.

Users have voiced their concerns about the sporadic appearance of calendar events on the Razr+ 2023’s external display in the Dashboard Clock Style.

This erratic behavior prompted some users to run tests to determine the pattern, if any, behind this issue.

They found out that Dashboard only shows the next event for the day that hasn’t passed yet. The past events for the same day are not displayed.

Such unpredictability has understandably frustrated users who rely on the convenience of the external display.

This is an intended behavior

But surprisingly, it seems that the system is working as designed, which indicates that it is not a problem as some people believe:

Moto devs have confirmed that this is indeed its intended behavior. Only the next event will show up in the Dashboard Clock Style.

The admin has also requested devs to explore the possibility of expanding the dashboard’s functionality to include current events and multiple future events.

This might come as a relief or disappointment to some. So let us know your thoughts down below.
