Anyone returning Pixel 7 for heating issues? 256gb?
I got my pixel 7 about a week ago and I love this phone except for the overheating issue. The first day when I was setting up the phone the phone got extremely hot, but that is expected as everyone says.
So I gave it a try for a week with my general use. It is mostly cold while it is sitting idle, but after a few mins of use it becomes warm again.

I was already noticing that the Pixel was getting uncomfortably warm. When I touched the metal camera bump, it was too hot to touch longer than a second.
Camera-related apps seem to be especially affected
It seems that most cases of overheating while using the Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are camera related.
There are multiple reports where the problem appears when taking photos, recording video, making video calls or simply opening the Camera app.
Pixel 7 Pro overheating
My brand new(of course) Pixel 7 Pro is overheating within few seconds of opening the camera and while browsing internet on mobile data.
I’m facing overheating issues while using video call on my pixel 7 pro. So scare for this temperature 45*C while doing video call. My old pixel 4xl has no issue so far, still working fine.
However, that does not mean that heavy use is required to generate overheating. There are also reports where the Google Pixel 7 series overheats during normal or light use.
