Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

In June, Epic Games released the Chapter 4 Season 3 update for Fortnite that added new creatures, weapons, and Reality augments, as well as introduced some changes to the map.

Ever since its launch, this season has only received a single patch till now, with the second one arriving shortly.

However, players are disappointed as the latest Chapter has not been often updated with new and exciting content and in-game items.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 update ‘disappointing’, ‘stale’ and ‘boring’

By looking at the reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), it appears that multiple Forntie players find the Chapter 4 Season 3 update boring, disappointing, and stale.

Some claim this season to be one of the worst ever released in the past 2-3 years and have expressed their disappointment with different aspects of the update.

They argue that the third-season battle pass skins don’t match the quality of prior seasons, lacks thrilling events, and assert that the weapon meta is quite horrible.

In addition to this, people have complained that the provided content largely consists of grind quests for underwhelming cosmetic items and find the new Milestone System to be horrendous and miserable.

Others have observed that the abandoned and desolate places on the map, such as the Citadel, appear like a ghost town. Certain biomes, like slabs, don’t see much action and are regarded as dead spaces as well.

One of those impacted has criticized the season for the loot pool. They believe that some items are more powerful than others, resulting in an unenjoyable and uneven gaming experience.

The only thing that could save this season is a live event or another mini-pass.

The lack of exciting mythological items is quite a deal-breaker for them as well. Another gamer believes that only a live event or a mini-pass can save this season.

Notably, a section of players is no longer motivated to continue playing the game and is thinking of uninstalling it until the release of the next Chapter.

A Redditor has even compared the current season with the first and stated that the latter got a total of five updates and spanned over 100 days.

Those affected are now urging the developers to introduce additional content and events in order to make the gameplay more exciting and fun.
