Xfinity app not loading or throwing errors constantly

However, lately some users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) have been facing issues where the Xfinity app is not loading properly or keeps throwing errors constantly.

People argue that the app is poorly designed and the biggest embarrassment they’ve ever seen, questioning its quality and development.

They even wonder if the company employees ever used the app themselves before releasing it to the public or considered the feedback provided in the App Store reviews.


Users claim that they cannot access the app and subscription menu via settings. Despite being subscribed to the service for a long time, they have been unable to manage their subscriptions via the X1 Box settings menu.

The lack of alternative options to manage subscriptions is a point of frustration for those limited to either subscribing or unsubscribing with no control over other aspects.

Some even speculate that the app poorly represents information and intentionally hides essential details from customers.

In addition to this, others are experiencing difficulties connecting the Xfinity app with new gateways. They are also unable to view any connected devices or test their connection speed.

Someone says that even though their device is connected to the internet, the Xfinity app still indicates that it is disconnected.

To address this issue, they have tried forgetting the device, restarting the modem, and trying different Ethernet ports, but to no avail.

@XfinitySupport I just activated new gateway and now the xfinity app says I’m offline (I’m not) do I can’t see any devices or test internet speed etc. Any thoughts?

The most confusing and unuser friendly app I’ve ever used. Worst part is you need the Xfinity app for the most basic stuff. Please get better @Xfinity.

Sadly, subscribers’ attempts to seek help from customer support have been met with unfulfilled promises of resolution.
