COD: Warzone 2 is a popular FPS game that has gained immense popularity since its launch. However, players occasionally report issues with it and you can check them out in our dedicated tracker.
Having said that, some players have recently encountered a frustrating glitch or exploit within the Gulag.
Gulag is a unique feature in Warzone 2 that allows eliminated players to fight for a chance to respawn and rejoin the battle.
Upon death, players are transported to the Gulag, where they participate in one-on-one gunfights with another eliminated player.
The winner is granted another chance, while the loser is permanently eliminated from the match. However, some Warzone 2 are reporting that they are being killed before the round even starts in Gulag.
Warzone 2 players in Gulag get killed before round starts
As per reports, players are able to shoot other players even before the countdown to start the round has finished. Apparently, some players are taking advantage of this exploit.
Got killed in the gulag in a Ranked game before the timer ever started by a guy who wasn’t even supposed to be in the gulag fighting me. New bug/exploit? (Source)
Not only do I die instantly from the snake shots. I then go into gulag and get killed by someone in my spawn instantly before the count down. I then get bought back and cannot move forward or side to side. @Activision @RavenSoftware your game is dog shit (Source)
As a result, players find themselves helpless watching their characters get killed without any opportunity to defend themselves or fight back.
This issue had previously surfaced in February and March but has unfortunately made a return, apparently, after the latest Season 4 Reloaded update.
And as if the aforementioned glitch wasn’t enough, players have encountered (1, 2, 3, 4) other Gulag-related issues as well. Some have reported instances of being stuck in the Gulag, unable to progress or exit.
Others have experienced erroneous spawning where they find themselves either outside or inside the Gulag when they should not be.
Furthermore, there are reports of a damage exploit, with players suffering unusually high amounts of damage (300-400+), which can quickly lead to elimination.
These Gulag-related problems significantly impact the overall gameplay experience for Warzone 2 players.
Unfortunately, the support team hasn’t yet acknowledged these problems. And we hope that these issues get fixed as soon as possible.
That said, we will make sure to update this article accordingly.
