Upcoming Counter-Strike 2 (CS:GO) update bringing Overpass or Cobblestone? Here's what we know

CS:GO, also known as Counter-Strike 2, is a highly popular first-person shooter game developed by Valve Corporation.

It offers intense multiplayer gameplay, realistic weapons, and competitive matches that require teamwork and skill. CS:GO has gradually become a global sensation in the world of gaming.

Having said that, a new rumor is circulating among CS:GO community about an upcoming update. It is being speculated that one of the upcoming updates could bring Overpass or Cobblestone maps back into the game.

Players begun talking about this after official CS:GO Twitter published an image of a dragon. This image is related to a dragon graffiti which is found in both Overpass and Cobblestone.

This has led many to believe that one of these iconic maps may be making a return. While both maps are equally popular, some want to see Overpass and others are waiting for Cobblestone.

Overpass and Cobblestone have long been fan-favorite maps within the CS:GO community. Overpass is set in a post-apocalyptic environment that features a layout of tunnels, bridges, and bombsites.

On the other hand, Cobblestone takes players to a medieval castle. It has a unique setting for intense battles between the Counter-Terrorists and Terrorists.

The removal of these two maps from the official competitive map pool in recent years left many fans disappointed. Fortunately, one of these maps could make a comeback in the near future.

However, this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet and gamers should rather wait for the developers to make the announcement before believing anything on their own.
