In coming is a service outage alert!
Is Sky broadband down and cable down or not working for you? Please be informed that the service is going through signal interruption in certain areas, and a lot of users are complaining about this across micro-blogging site Twitter.
A quick look at Down detector – a service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects Sky is encountering a glitch in some regions as can be seen in live outage map below.
Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter as yet, while reverting back to some users @SKYserves acknowledged that some areas are encountering signal interruptions, and added there’s no ETA for how long would it take to fix things up.

Update 1 (July 28, 2021)
A mass outage on the Sky broadband network has prompted a slew of complaints on social media from internet users across the UK.
So Sky broadband services are down across Norfolk and Suffolk, I wonder what compensation they will offer? @SkyUK, can you advise?
Update 2 (August 20, 2021)
A Sky Broadband outage is causing a domino effect in which many high-profile banks are also reporting issues with their services. Customers of Banks like TSB, NatWest, Santander, and more are facing issues accessing their online banking and mobile banking services.
Now, Sky Help Team says it is aware of this issue and is working on it on priority.
Update 3 (September 02, 2021)
It seems many Sky broadband users are unable to use the internet as the service is going through an outage. Here are some reports for reference:

Update 4 (September 03, 2021)
It appears that some Sky broadband users are once again facing issues with the service. We’ve shared some reports below for reference:

It’s definitely been an odd week on the IT front. Sky internet has been intermittent and Gmail has also been clunky – is it the full moon? (Source)
Fortunately, the company’s support has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix for it.

Update 5 (September 16, 2021)
As per recent reports, the Sky internet services are once again not working for multiple users in Scotland. However, the outage has been acknowledged by Sky Help Team and a fix is being looked into.

Update 6 (October 25, 2022)
Many Sky internet users have taken to Twitter to report that they aren’t able to use the internet due to an outage.
@SkyHelpTeam I’m in WA15. No internet and no landline since early this morning. What is going on and when will it be sorted? (Source)
@SkyHelpTeam our sky broadband in M33 has been down all day and the service check just says you know there is a problem. When will this be fixed? (Source)
Luckily, the company seems to be aware of the outage but there’s no ETA for a fix.
The line test results you’ve provided in the second screenshot would an accurate result. We don’t have any timescales for this to be resolved but we’re working to get this restored ASAP. (Source)

Luckily, the company appears to be aware of the situation as the support team confirmed they are working on a fix. Here’s what they say:

06:19 pm (IST): Even though it has been a day since the outage began, the company’s support team still maintains that they are working on a fix but there’s no ETA.

06:48 pm (IST): The recent outage with Sky internet appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.
