Introduced a few years ago, Twitter Bookmarks provides users with a simple and convenient way to save tweets they want to revisit later.

Whether it’s a thought-provoking quote, a helpful article, or a funny meme, users can easily bookmark these tweets with a single click, ensuring they won’t get lost in the sea of information.

The Bookmarks feature offers several benefits that have made it a favorite tool among Twitter users.

However, as the number of saved tweets grew over time, organizing and finding them became increasingly difficult.

Recognizing this need for improved bookmark management, Twitter introduced the Bookmarks Folder feature, but with a catch—it is exclusively available for Blue users.

But, even with the Bookmarks Folder feature in place, finding a specific bookmarked tweet can still be a challenging task (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

Twitter currently lacks a search option or the ability to sort bookmarks, leaving users with no choice but to manually scroll through their long list of saved tweets.

This process is not only time-consuming but also frustrating for users, regardless of whether they are Blue or non-Blue users.

As a result, Twitter users have started voicing their concerns and demands for further refinement of the Bookmarks feature.

They are particularly calling for the addition of search and sorting options, which would greatly enhance the usability of the Bookmarks feature.

twitter really needs to improve this bookmark feature ugh.. can’t keep scrolling down to get to old bookmarks

Bookmark Folders are a big step forward in Twitter Blue, but how about being able to sort the bookmark folders alphabetically so one can actually find the folder one is looking for as quickly as possible?

By incorporating a search function, users would be able to quickly locate specific tweets by typing in keywords or phrases related to the bookmarked content.

Additionally, sorting options such as sorting by date, popularity, or custom categories would allow users to arrange their bookmarks in a way that suits their needs.

By streamlining the process of finding saved tweets, Twitter would empower its users to make better use of the platform and facilitate knowledge sharing and information retrieval.

We hope Elon Musk will consider this request to add search and sorting for Bookmarks option to Twitter.
