Social media platforms play a significant role in our lives today, with Facebook being one of the most popular and widely used platforms.

People use it to share their experiences, memories, and important moments through photos.

Is Facebook suddenly deleting your photos?

Therefore, it can be distressing when these cherished pictures vanish without warning (1,2,3,4,5).

Facebook deleting photos

Facebook is a platform widely used for sharing and storing personal memories in the form of photos and videos. Losing access to these cherished moments can be distressing for individuals who rely on Facebook as a digital archive.

Users have taken to various online forums and social media platforms to express their frustration and concern. Some are wondering why their photos suddenly disappeared and whether they can be recovered.

The lack of transparency from Facebook has only added to the confusion and uncertainty surrounding this issue.

Facebook is so grimy…get your shit together and return all my pictures too that got deleted!! I’m big mad now!

Hey @facebook Give me back my damn pictures. I had people who’ve passed away & you deleted every single last one of them for what? Because they’re not in a damn album?

A user speculates that there may be a link between the latest app update (Android, iOS) and the removal of images from Facebook accounts, due to the fact that they can be viewed on the website.

Seems be something up with the mobile app. If you go on laptop/computer and/or full site they are there

While some argue that it does not appear to be an update-related issue, but rather a server-loading issue, since photographs are not lost, but just stop loading or displaying in the album until they are restored after a while:
