Without a doubt, Diablo 4 delivers a captivating narrative and an engaging quest system that keep players hooked from the moment they step foot into the forsaken lands.

Whether it’s exploring eerie dungeons, battling hordes of monstrous creatures, or participating in complex puzzle-solving, every quest presents its own unique set of challenges and opportunities for discovery.

However, some are unhappy as they are facing some problems while playing a quest.

Diablo 4 ‘Fangs of Corruption’ quest freezing or getting stuck

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), some Diablo 4 players are experiencing difficulties in playing and completing the Fangs of Corruption quest.

They allege that there is a recurring issue in the Fangs of Corruption mission where the game freezes when attempting to enter the untamed thickets.

They also assert that one ends up returning to the same location after restarting the game. And to rub salt in the wounds, it keeps on getting stuck no matter how many times one tries to get inside the untamed thickets.

Notably, the issue has popped up recently and mostly affects the console players. And sadly, they cannot get rid of this problem by disabling crossplay and crossplay communication or by teleporting to nearest or unrelated waypoint.

In addition to this, running out of the town to clear teleportation and returning to the Untamed Thicket could not help solve their problem as well.

One of those affected says that the game freezes and renders the menu buttons and controller stick unresponsive as soon as they try to get inside the untamed thickets on their PlayStation.

Another gamer claims to be experiencing this issue on their PC as well.

Official acknowledgment and potential workaround

Fortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently working on fixing it. Although no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.

However, you can try changing the world tier, restarting your console, and retrying to load the quest after some time for a potential fix.

We are hopeful that Blizzard Team 3 will resolve this problem shortly.
