Set during Cleopatra’s rule in the Ptolemaic period, Assassin’s Creed Origins takes you to a beautifully recreated open-world environment brimming with life and rich historical elements.

The game also has a lot of fun and exciting quests that keep players hooked. Those who subscribe to the Game Pass get access to additional quests on a weekly and monthly basis.

And by completing them, players can earn reward points, which can be redeemed for a variety of rewards like in-game items, gift cards, subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate, and much more.

However, gamers have recently started experiencing some issues with game pass quests.

Assassin’s Creed Origins ‘Game Pass quest’ not working at max level

Multiple Assassin’s Creed Origins players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are facing an issue where the Game Pass Quests are not working properly. Allegedly, one is unable to complete them if they have reached the maximum level.

In addition to this, players are also required to avenge a fallen player but are unable to do so as the avenging system has already been removed.

And to make matters worse, starting a new game also does not help solve their problems. A player has taken a jibe at the developers and said that they don’t even bother to check if a quest’s criteria can be fulfilled or not.

It is also worth mentioning that a similar issue popped up 10 months ago as well. And it is understandably quite frustrating that gamers have to face such a problem again.

One of those affected mentions that they have not received credits despite having completed the quest at a lower level.

Another player claims to have had the points manually added to their account by the Microsoft support team.

I’ve had many quests or punchcards bug out or simply not award the points. Don’t feel it’s worth the time or effort to go back and forth with support over what amounts to a few cents.

Played for ~35 minutes last night on a new character considering I beat the game and am max level. Currently level 4, so I have gained 3 levels. I also don’t see where to avenge another player.

And understandably, gamers are now requesting the developers to fix this glitch as soon as possible.

Official response

Luckily, Ubisoft Montreal has officially responded to the matter and stated that they are looking into it. Although no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.

So it looks like players might have to wait a while before the problem is resolved.

We do hope that Ubisoft will fix this glitch as soon as possible.
