[Updated] Google 'Doodle Halloween 2022' not working ('Something went wrong') - has it been discontinued?

Last Halloween, Google released the next sequel to its popular doodle game launched back in 2018 that brought along new characters, features, power-ups and maps.

However, some are experiencing issues while trying to play the game.

Multiple Google Doodle Halloween 2022 players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are experiencing difficulties playing the game. Allegedly, the only thing that is functional is its tutorial.

And as per the claims, the game fails to load after one completes the tutorial or clicks on the skip tutorial button. Along with this, gamers get an ‘Eek! Something went wrong! Try again’ error message.

The issue has been persistent for the past few days and remains unresolved until now.

And to make matters worse, restarting the browser or game and utilizing alternatives like incognito mode, VPNs or a different device doesn’t help solve their problem.

This is understandably disappointing for all those who love playing this fun and addictive game on a daily basis. Understandably, those affected have taken to web forums to express their concerns.

Doodles Halloween 2022 not working keeps saying something went wrong. I can get to the page skip the tut. but then it says “Eek something went wrong Try again” I tried to find answers by looking at twitter, google search and the forums but no answers.

Some are even speculating that Google might have decided to discontinue the game given it’s been a while since Halloween passed. Gamers are now requesting the developers to fix this glitch as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, Google has not yet officially responded. But we will keep tabs on the issue with Google Doodle Halloween 2022 not working and update this article to reflect the latest developments.

04:44 pm (IST): According to a user, the 2018 version of Google Doodle is also not working.

The 2018 version doesn’t work either. It’s just terrible…
