British Airways is one of the best known airlines. Thousands of users worldwide rely on its services to carry out their vacation or professional trips.

Like other airlines, British Airways offers an app to facilitate the process of buying or booking tickets. However, the British Airways app has been experiencing issues for the last few hours.

Currently many users are not able to complete any boleto purchase or confirmation procedures on British Airways due to the app and website being down or not working.

Twitter is full of reports related to the problem. Many users need to purchase or confirm tickets on British Airways, but are unable to do so due to server issues that affect both the app and the website.

Yes, I have tried on the app and on three computers/ different browsers. Just keeps crashing and then saying no flights available when I know there are ☹️. Do you know when your site will be working so I can try again and I can see it seems lots of people are having issues?

Trying to manage booking for tomorrow midday and site says too busy to deal with managing the booking. Not helpful. Are we supposed to stay in a hotel room all day trying to manage the booking. Took 5 hours to book the holiday and looks like it may take the same to get home.?

@British_Airways, I’m trying to book and enter a voucher I was given by a friend and the voucher button fails. When I try to make the booking the page stalls. A call to customer service hangs up without connecting me.

Any chance I could speak to someone to make my booking?

The British Airways support team states that they are not yet aware of any server issues on their website, which annoys many users due to the sheer number of reports out there.

The downdetector site also reflects that many people are having problems with the British Airways web services (app and website).

04:12 pm (IST): British Airways confirmed that the issue with their app and website has now been resolved. This means that users will now be able to use the services as usual.
