TikTok is a wildly popular social media platform known for its short and fun videos. It’s like a virtual stage where people can share their talents, creativity, and connect with others from around the world.

With that said, TikTok recently introduced a new font to the platform, replacing its classic Proxima Nova – Semibold font. However, instead of receiving a positive response, the new font has sparked intense criticism from users.

Many users have taken to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction and longing for a return to the classic font, highlighting the importance of familiarity and readability in their user experience.

The old classic TikTok font, Proxima Nova – Semibold, had become the platform’s visual identity. It provided a clean and readable style that was widely appreciated by users.

Users have been complaining that the new fonts are visually unattractive and difficult to understand and read.

Regrettably, there’s currently no workaround to go back to the classic font and users will have to keep using the new ones until TikTok reverts it or comes up with new fonts that fits the needs of users.

Unfortunately, TikTok hasn’t yet acknowledged the reports of users asking to revert back to the classic font.

Rest assured, we will keep tabs on the latest developments and inform you as and when we come across anything noteworthy.
