YouTube is one of the leading social media platforms which caters to the needs of different users worldwide. Thanks to the plethora of content uploaded by content creators, one can enjoy being entertained for countless hours.

However, some creators are unhappy as the ads on their channels are being limited by the company.

YouTube ads limited on channel due to Invalid traffic

Some content creators on YouTube (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) are facing an issue where the ads on their channels are getting limited due to invalid traffic.

Users allegedly get a ‘ads have been limited on one or more of your videos due to invalid traffic’ notification .

However, they claim that the platform has wrongly demonetized their channels as they never engage in any illegal activities to generate illegitimate traffic.

Generally, YouTube considers any action that is not from real users or users with a genuine interest in a channel as invalid traffic.

Interestingly, one of those affected claims their AdSense account was disabled for responding to comments of their audience. The issue popped up recently and has been persistent for the past few days.

@TeamYouTube My adsense account is disabled for invalid click activity but I am unintentionally clicked on ads while answering the comments of audience on my videos. What,s the solution for that???

The content creators are now requesting the developers to fix this glitch as soon as possible so that their revenue from ads doesn’t get affected any longer.

No official response

Unfortunately, YouTube has not officially responded to the matter and we didn’t come across any potential workarounds that might help solve your problem.

So it looks like you might have to wait a while before the problem is fully resolved.

That said, we are hopeful that YouTube will soon resolve the issue where ads have been limited on some channels due to invalid traffic.
