[Update: May 4] Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app & website not working or down, issue under investigation
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on March 14, 2022) follows:
Based out of the U.S., Resideo Technologies is a company that was formed in 2018 from Honeywell. Their security systems and thermostats quickly became popular, generating a revenue of more than $5.8 billion in 2020.
In case you did not know, the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app allows users to easily control their thermostats. Users can easily increase or decrease the temperature, schedule thermostats, and view the current temperature.
Many said they tried clearing cache and app data and reinstalling the app but to no avail. It is a really serious issue since people are unable to control their thermostats remotely.
Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Honeywell Total Connect Comfort is down or not working.
Below are some reports from Honeywell Connect Comfort users complaining about the app and website not working.
Are the servers down for the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app? My Honeywell 9000 lost internet connection and unable to connect to app. Internet at home working fine
@honeywell is total connect comfort down? My thermostat is off my account and now when I try to log in the app forces closed. When I log in on a different account it loads fine
As it turns out, Honeywell has commented on the matter and said they are aware of the fact that the Total Connect Comfort application and web portal are not working at the moment.
Investigating – We are aware some of our customers are experiencing issues with our (TCC) application. The thermostat can still be used directly to control your heating and cooling system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
