Destiny 2 bug where 'Champ title cannot be gilded even after unlocking 20/20 triumphs' gets officially acknowledged

Destiny 2 is back in the news once again. This time, players are experiencing difficulties in unlocking the Champ seal, due to which they have got disappointed.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Destiny 2 players are facing an issue where the Champ title cannot be gilded after unlocking all the triumphs.

It appears that the game just unlocks the title and does not gilde it as it should. And as per the reports, Hall of Fame and Record Setter are not being categorized as gilded triumphs.

Gamers claim that they get a blank ‘title unlocked/gilded’ notification whenever they try to redeem it. They also mentioned that it remained normal even after having fulfilled all the prerequisites.

There are speculations that this could be happening because the last triumph they claimed was not a gilding triumph but a normal one.

Luckily, Bungie has officially acknowledged this issue and is currently investigating it. Although, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.

We are hopeful that Bungie will soon resolve the issue where the Champ title cannot be gilded in Destiny 2. Having said that, we will keep an eye on this issue and update this article with the latest information.
